Baldur’s Gate 3 fans can download a brand new update for PC, PS5 and Mac. Unlike the recently released Patch 3 for Baldur’s Gate, the new update focuses on fixing bugs and resolving crashes. Indeed, as you can see from the Baldur’s Gate 3 patch notes further down the page, this includes a crucial fix for a crash that would occur when loading save games with potentially invalid items in the inventory.
Elsewhere, Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotix 7 fixes a crash that would occur when listening in on some dialogues during a multiplayer session, as well as a crash caused by corrupted item stacks.
Fans will also be pleased to hear that developer Larian has fixed a save game issue when loading into a new region without the Withers’ Wardrobe.
That’s on top of a fix for a corrupted save game issue relating to the deployment of traps.
The news was announced by Larian on X (formerly Twitter): “Hotfix #7 is now live for Baldur’s Gate 3. This update takes care of several crashes and savegame issues.”

• Removed duplicated characters and items caused by items being taken across two different cached levels.
• Fixed the preview for the text background option not changing height after you reduce the Dialogue Text Size.
