We’re entering week 2 of Game of Thrones season 8, and it’s pretty fair to say the world is gripped in the throes of Game of Thrones mania. Whether it’s special edition Game of Thrones Oreos, the new Adidas Game of Thrones Ultraboosts or even Johnnie Walker Game of Thrones Scotch, there sure are lots of ways to enjoy murder and mayhem. Ultimately, it’s still all about the show itself (and the books, sure), and with the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere happening last week on April 14, that means we have just five episodes left before someone claims the Iron Throne once and for all.

If you missed Sunday night’s Game of Thrones season 8 premiere, it’s not too late. In fact, thanks to modern on-demand streaming, it’s never too late. Better still, you can catch up with all the episodes you might have missed and stream Game of Thrones season 8 episode 2 when it airs on April 21.

If you already have Amazon Prime, adding an HBO subscription to your Prime Video channels is $14.99 a month. Perhaps the biggest advantage Prime has versus the HBO Now subscription is a much cleaner user interface. For example, if you’re binge watching previous seasons of Game of Thrones, it’s much easier to skip the intro through Prime Video. The Prime subscription itself is $12.99, but if you’re a new subscriber you get 30 days of Prime for free. That’s more than long enough to catch the premiere and even watch previous seasons to catch up.

If you are a new subscriber, you can get a free trial of Prime and if you’ve never subscribed to HBO on Prime, you can get a 7-day trial for that, as well. It’s the best way to watch Game of Thrones for free, but to reiterate, when the trial period ends, so does your access.

Stream Game of Thrones on Hulu + HBO

Hulu subscribers can add HBO streaming to their packages for an additional $14.99. If you don’t have Hulu, the base Hulu subscription rate is now just $5.99 per month, making it a tremendous bargain in its own right. Start by selecting your package: either the $11.99 no-ads option or the $5.99 base Hulu subscription, then create an account and finally add HBO to your package.

All done? Great. You can now watch HBO on any device with Hulu support. That means you can watch Game of Thrones season 8 premiere and all the remaining episodes from the comfort of bed on your Nintendo Switch.

Stream Game of Thrones on HBO Now/HBO Go

The original HBO streaming app is the easiest, but you don’t save any money. It’s $14.99 whether you get stand-alone HBO Now or add it to your Prime or Hulu packages. HBO Now runs on most internet-connected devices, letting you watch new episodes as soon as they start airing, as well as catching up on the old ones and watching everything else HBO has to offer.

HBO Go is basically the same as Now, but you use it through your cable company. If you sign up for HBO as part of your normal television cable package, you can also use HBO Go on your internet-connected devices through most providers.
