Altus has announced the official Western release date for Persona 5 Royal, the major update to Persona 5. P5R adds a variety of new features to the original, including new mechanics, a new party member, a reworked storyline, and new cutscenes. This has been the deal with the Persona series for a while–both Persona 3 and Persona 4 got major updates like this– but Royal looks like it might the most substantial update yet.
Persona 5 Royal launches exclusively for PlayStation 4 on March 31, 2020 in North America and Europe–the game has been out since October 31 in Japan.
