Update: Several people attempting to redeem the free code for Morrowind are receiving error messages stating the code is invalid or running into an issue where they can’t log into their Bethesda account, making it impossible to redeem the code.
In an exchange on Twitter, Bethesda acknowledged the problems and said the company is working on a resolution. It seems for now everyone should hang tight and periodically check if they can.
And if you’re looking to grab a particular piece of The Elder Scrolls franchise that you haven’t yet jumped into, Bethesda has marked down a number of games by 50 percent, or close to it, for a limited time at the Bethesda store:
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition – $24, regularly $40
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR – $39 – regularly $60
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion GOTY Edition – $7.50, regularly $15
- The Elder Scrolls Online – $10, regularly $20
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset Upgrade – $12, regularly $20
