Images from Silent Hill 2 remake have emerged online, although there’s no agreement on what they are or if they’re real.
Only a few days ago, there was chatter of Konami announcing something Silent Hill related as early as this month. While the publisher is keeping mum about it, we may have seen evidence of one of the rumoured Silent Hill games in development.
Images for a remake of Silent Hill 2, which is said to be in development at The Medium studio Bloober Team, have been shared online.
Said images are admittedly slightly blurry, but one of them clearly features a nurse monster from Silent Hill 2.
If accurate, the remake seems to be opting for an over-the-shoulder perspective more in the line with the Resident Evil remakes.
Or at least that was the original idea, as it’s claimed that what we’re seeing here is from an early proof of concept, so things may have changed in the final game.
If anything, it’s speculated to be a new Suikoden game, as the trademark for the series was renewed a couple months ago in July. Plus, the announcement will involve voice actor Yuki Kaiji, whose credits include two Suikoden games.
