Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominations Announced

The nominees for the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards have been announced, with The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Bombshell leading the film category with four nominations apiece.Following the announcement of the Golden Globe Nominations on Monday, SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris invited America Ferrera and Danai Gurira to reveal the nominees for the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards live from the Pacific Design Center's SilverScreen Theater in West Hollywood.The Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Bombshell were joined by Jojo Rabbit and Parasite in the running for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. In recent years, this category's winner has become a helpful prediction for Best Picture winners at the Academy Awards – with last year's SAG winner, Black Panther, receiving a historic Best Picture Oscar nomination in the aftermath of the prestigious event.Best Reviewed Movies of 2019On the TV side, Netflix dominated the categories with 13 nominations across the board for several of their shows, including Stranger Things, The Crown and Glow. Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel picked up a total of four nominations after previously winning the Comedy Ensemble honor. Meanwhile, Fleabag, Game of Thrones and The Morning Show were among the group to collect three nominations.The nominations in full are below:
