Rockstar have issued a new update for Red Dead Online today.
The patch, which weighs in at a substantial ~2.5GB, has started deploying this afternoon in the UK and is reportedly now rolling out around the world.
Coming in at just under 2.5GB, this patch is clearly not a small update. But Rockstar has yet to announce or share anything concerning the specifics of what the update affects in-game.
According to one user over at GTAForums , the patch will likely revolve around a variety of stability issues and bug fixes.
Metalz, the GTA Forum member, notes simply: “Update 01.13 – Various stability fixes” – whether this is taken from a download prompt on the console is currently unclear.
We'll keep our eyes peeled for a changelog from Rockstar, should one manifest, and let you know as soon as we learn anything else about the update.
Expect this update to also make its way to Xbox One in due course, too.
This comes just after we saw Red Dead Redemption 2 get reclassified by the Australian Classifications Board, sparking speculation that we're about to see an announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the PC.
There are other reasons a classification board may go and revisit the rating – new DLC, a new version of the game, or a huge update all work – but with the release of the Rockstar Launcher last week, it's highly likely Rockstar is gearing up for the PC release of the game.
