PS Plus subscribers have been treated to some fantastic free PS5 and PS4 games in 2021.

PlayStation Plus free games have included hits such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Control Ultimate Edition, Days Gone, Hitman 2 and Destruction All-Stars.

With such a high standard of free games in 2021, subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the November 2021 freebies.

Unfortunately, however, PS Plus members will have to wait a little longer for the games to be announced.

Based on Sony’s traditional reveal schedule, the PS Plus free games will be announced on October 27 at 4.30pm BST.

This means the games will be available to download and play from the morning of November 2.

While it’s a shame we have to wait a little longer for the next batch of games to be announced, it does give subscribers additional time to download the October line-up.

The current batch of free games includes PlayStation 5 multiplayer shooter Hell Let Loose.

“Join the ever expanding experience of Hell Let Loose – a hardcore World War Two first person shooter with epic battles of 100 players with infantry, tanks, artillery, a dynamically shifting front line and a unique resource based RTS-inspired meta-game,” reads the official description.

Hell Let Loose contains nine different maps and 14 different roles, not to mention countless different vehicles.

“Featuring more than 9 sweeping maps modelled on real reconnaissance images and satellite data, the entire battlefield is divided up into large capture sectors – allowing for emergent and constantly unique gameplay that pits two forces of fifty players in a fight to the death across fields, bridges, forests and towns on an ever-evolving front line.

“When a sector is captured, it will generate one of three resources for your team, creating a complex meta-game that will influence your team’s march to victory.”

PS4 users, meanwhile, can download and play the excellent Mortal Kombat X, and sports sim PGA Tour 2K21.

PlayStation share the best of PS Plus

Mortal Kombat X is the pick of the bunch, earning strong reviews for its cinematic presentation.

If you want to download the October free games – and be ready for the November giveaway – then it’s worth heading to ShopTo.

The UK retailer is currently selling 12-month PlayStation Plus subscriptions for just £41.85, compared to £49.99 on PSN.

As a digital membership, the PS Plus subscription will be delivered immediately, which means you can use it to bag the latest batch of free PlayStation Plus games.
