A new leak has appeared online that appears to have confirmed one of the PS Plus February 2020 free games for PS4. And weirdly enough, it seems to have come straight from a PlayStation account online. While it won’t be long until we find out the official news from Sony, it appears that a YouTube account may have leaked it early.
For now, we know that Sony will announce its latest PS Plus free games lineup at around 4:30pm, GMT.
The official PlayStation Plus news will be shared later today, January 29, and will be followed by the launch of the new titles next week.
But for those wanting to hear a hint beforehand, it appears that Crash Bandicoot might feature.
The official PlayStation Spain YouTube channel has shared a new community post hours before the scheduled announcement.
It reads: “Tomorrow at 17:30 we announce the PS PLUS games for the month of February. What do you think they will be? A clue, one of them is a well-known saga.”
The message itself doesn’t give much away, and it really could be anything that’s proven popular on a PlayStation platform.

Apex Legends Revenant update is big news for Season 4 on PS4 and Xbox
But the post comes with a further hint; an animated gif featuring Crash Bandicoot and the phrase “Ta Da!” in the background.
So it seems very likely based on this latest information that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be part of February’s PS Plus lineup.
This could be some kind of mistake on the part of the YouTube team but it seems a very odd thing to post just hours before the big reveal.
For now, there is no reason to discredit this surprise reveal and so far the community post remains available to view on YouTube.
There are over 100 fan comments on the community post, some of which are still guessing what it might be. Some PS4 gamers are pointing out that this might be a little tease being used by the team, and it won’t actually include Crash.
Others believe it could be the other recent game launched from the franchise, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
This is a much more recent launch on the PlayStation platforms, making it less likely to feature in PS Plus. But there’s always a chance that Sony is planning to surprise its fanbase with something else.
And while we might know about one of the new PS Plus free games, there is still another slot to consider.
Some gamers are predicting that DOOM will be featured before the sequel is released by Bethesda.
Others are hoping for some winning combos, with the likes of Dishonored 2 and Dead Cells being mentioned alongside Nier Automata.
There’s a superstition that if you recently bought a game, it will soon become available on PS Plus.
And that’s why others are predicting titles like Star Wars Battlefront 2 and The Witcher 3 will soon be featured.
Others expect to see The Order 1886 included at some point in the future, and has featured on every PS Plus prediction thread since time immemorial.
Whatever is featured as part of the new lineup, gamers can expect the PS4 titles to become available to download on Tuesday, February 4. 2020.
