PlayStation Plus subscribers are counting down to the reveal of the Extra and Premium games for July 2023. The next wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games will be officially unveiled at 4.30pm BST UK time on July 12. Featuring a mixture of contemporary PS4 and PS5 games, as well a selection of classic PSOne titles, the games will be available to download and stream less than a week later on July 18. There’s a good chance some of the games will leak ahead of schedule, so keep checking back for all the latest information and updates.

In the run up to the official PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium reveal, fans have been making predictions about some of the games that could appear in the line-up. In an entertaining thread on Reddit, multiple fans believe The Witcher 3 will make an appearance on PS Plus Extra in July 2023. It would certainly help drum up publicity for the live-action Witcher series on Netflix, which has just entered its third season.

Other games tipped to appear on PS Plus Extra include role-playing game Tales of Arise, as well as Tiny Tina’s Wonderland and martial arts action release Sifu.

With GTA 5 recently returning to Xbox Game Pass, other people believe Grand Theft Auto 5 will make an appearance on the PS Plus Extra Games Catalogue.

Indie games like Hades are also tipped to appear, alongside Tunic, The Pathless, Escape Academy and Gris.

The Witcher: Official trailer for Season 3

Multiple users also tip Sonic Frontiers to make an appearance in July, alongside countless predictions for FIFA 23, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Cyberpunk 2077, Gran Turismo 7 and The Last of Us.

Perhaps it’s wishful thinking, but there are also a few votes for the 2022 game of the year Elden Ring.

Speaking of PS Plus, the July 2023 Essentials are now available for subscribers of all tiers to download and play.

A strong line-up, the PS Plus Essentials are headlined by Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. That’s on top of Alan Wake Remastered and Endling Extinction is Forever.
