What is PlayStation Plus?

PlayStation Plus (commonly referred to as PS Plus or PS+) is Sony's PlayStation subscription service, primarily needed to give you access to online gaming on your PS4.

However, there are plenty more benefits on top, including two free PS4 games every month, exclusive PlayStation Store discounts, and 100GB of cloud storage for game saves.

How much does PlayStation Plus cost?

You can join PS Plus on a one, three or 12-month recurring payment plan, with costs ranging from as little as £6.99 for one month, up to £49.99 for the yearly option.

Choose a 12 month PS Plus membership and, by paying annually, you'll save 40% compared to paying monthly, and 37% compared to the three-month membership plan.

Can I try PlayStation Plus before I subscribe?

Yes! If you have never been a member of PlayStation Plus before, you can try it free for 14 days.

Like most online subscription services, you'll need to provide payment details, and unless you cancel your subscription before the end of your 14 day trial period, your trial subscription will automatically roll into a paid-for, ongoing subscription.

Right, so what is this amazing offer? Well, over on CDKeys you can grab a 12-month PS Plus subscription for just £39.79, saving yourself a tidy 20% off the standard price.

Not bad, especially when you consider the benefits of PS Plus to begin with (free games and all that jazz).

According to CDKeys website, users will be sent their key on an order confirmation email once payment has been taken.

Full details of that can all be found on the above link, but it's fairly simple.
