With only a day away from its official release, another datamine has revealed the official description for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War title from Treyarch. According to CODTracker, the game will serve as a direct sequel to the original Call of Duty: Black Ops set in the middle of the Cold War in the 1980s. Players will “battle around the globe through iconic locales like East Berlin, Vietnam, Turkey, Soviet KGB headquarters and more” as part of the campaign.

Returning characters from the series include Woods, Mason, and Hudson alongside a new cast of heroes trailing a spy named Perseus. “As elite operatives, you will follow the trail of a shadowy figure named Perseus who is on a mission to destabilize the global balance of power and change the course of history,” the leaked description states. “Descend into the dark center of this global conspiracy alongside iconic characters Woods, Mason and Hudson and a new cast of operatives attempting to stop a plot decades in the making.”
