How To Find Oleana In Pokemon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra DLC

For a series known for many things, Pokemon Sword and Shield isn’t particularly well renowned for having a ton of Easter eggs. Sure, these games include tons of secrets, and the Crown Tundra DLC brings back hundreds of Pokemon from the past, but hidden characters are almost never a thing. As it turns out, however, a certain villainous secretary can be found in the new frozen region if you know what to do. It isn’t something most people will come across naturally, so here’s a guide on how to find Oleana in the Crown Tundra.

How To Find Oleana In The Crown Tundra

Oleana, who you might remember as Chairman Rose’s secretary in the main story for Pokemon Sword and Shield, has also made her way to the Crown Tundra region. While this is just a little Easter egg — you don’t get to battle her again or anything like that — you do get a nice little bit of extra dialogue for your efforts. Small spoilers ahead for what happens when you encounter her.

Start off by flying to the Slippery Slope Max Lair. Once inside, speak to Peonia. She’ll ask you how you are and give you a little tip or something else not really consequential to anything. If you keep talking to her, she will eventually ask if you’ve heard a rumor about a long haired woman who visits a grave every night. Once you get this clue, grab your bike and travel south to the Old Cemetery.

Once you arrive, look among the headstones for a familiar figure standing beneath a tree. Interact with her to start a cutscene where she appears to be looking for something, or someone. She will immediately turn sour once you interrupt her searching and explain that she heard Chairman Rose had been seen in that area and was looking for information. She’ll ask you about this, but Peony will come and interrupt you if you say you might know something.

She mistakes Peony for Chairman Rose at first, before it is officially revealed that he is actually his brother. Oleana realizes that people simply mistook Peony for Rose and calls a taxi, ending the scene.
