It's that time of the month again – the time where gamers flock around Microsoft's Larry Major Nelson Hryb, who typically reveals the new Xbox Games With Gold titles over on Twitter and on the Xbox Wire website at the end of the month.
If you're wondering when you might hear more news about the upcoming games, the August Games with Gold lineup was unveiled on July 30 (with the games launching August 1), and September's games were unveiled on August 29 and came to the store on September 1.
If the same pattern applies here, the October games list is probably going to be announced on either September 27 or September 28, with the upcoming set of Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles available to download on October 1.

One of the free downloadable games in October will be The Last Of Us Remastered – a great primer for you if you’ve never played the original, or you want to refresh your memory ahead of the sequel’s release in 2020.
The other free game you’ll be able to download is best-in-class baseball sim MLB The Show 2019 – something that may be a little lost on the UK readership here.
