Streamer The Happy Hob has achieved the seemingly impossible: beating Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls I to III, and Bloodborne without ever taking damage.
Given its reputation for difficulty the SoulsBorne games tend to attract a lot of people looking for ever more extreme ways to prove their gaming prowess.
But if you thought beating Dark Souls with a Guitar Hero controller couldn’t be topped then perhaps you’ll be impressed by The Happy Hob’s latest achievement.
As unbelievable as it sounds he has played Demon’s Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Darks Souls III, and Bloodborne one after the other, without ever once being hit by an enemy.
While attempting the feat The Happy Hob would restart the whole process from scratch if hit, so you can just imagine how he would have felt taking a knock from Bloodborne’s final boss.
It all sounds so crazy we wouldn’t normally believe a word of any of it, except of course there’s video proof of the whole ordeal.
By this point many expert players know the quickest way to beat all the games, so it didn’t take quite as long as you’d be imagining but apparently his hands were so numb by the end that he could barely hold the controller.
As he points out in his own tweet (replied to by developers FromSoftware) this was all done in preparation for this week’s release of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, which implies he’s probably going to add that to the list and try it all again.
