Fortnite fans are counting down to the start of the end of season Fracture event later this evening. The Fortnite end of season event has a December 3 release date and a 9pm GMT UK start time. And the Fracture event doesn’t just bring the season to an end, it also marks the conclusion of Chapter 3 in its entirety. Needless to say, it’s shaping up to be a huge event, which is why Epic Games recommends logging in 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the festivities.

While it’s a good idea to login early to avoid missing the action and getting locked out of the servers, fans can actually join in-progress until 9.40pm GMT.

If you’re not by a computer during the event, you can even play over the cloud using Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce NOW.

Epic describes the Fracture event as an “otherworldly and unexpected social event” that can be played individually or with friends.

Alternatively, you can partner up with fellow individuals by emoting with other players during the build up.

Speaking of emotes, anybody who logs into Fortnite up until 7.45am GMT on December 4 will receive the Toasty Roast Emote for free.

The event won’t be replayed, so anybody looking to post videos are urged to record Fracture to avoid missing out completely.

The game is then expected to go offline for around 12 hours, as Epic performs server maintenance and gets ready to introduce a brand new map and Battle Pass.

Needless to say, now is the time to level up your Season 4 Battle Pass in order to earn all the rewards.

This includes any bonus styles found in the Bonus Rewards section of the Battle Pass menu. This season’s bonuses include Celestial, Spectral, and Aurelian Styles for the Bytes, Lennox Rose, Paradigm (Reality-659), Meow Skulls, and Spider-Gwen Outfits.

Other bonus rewards can be unlocked by performing quests, such as different styles for The Nothing’s Gift Pickaxe, as well as The Herald Outfit and accessories.

If you’re unable to login and earn more stars, any unspent Battle Stars will unlock the first available rewards in the Battle Pass.

Express Online will have more on Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 1 over the course of the weekend, so keep checking back for updates.
