Fortnite fans will be unable to login and play the game during the morning of June 27. Epic Games has announced plans to release update 25.11 on PS5, PS4, Xbox consoles, Nintendo Switch, Android and PC. The update will be available to download from 9am BST UK time on June 27. It will be accompanied by a period of server downtime, which means you won’t be able to play Fortnite for at least a couple of hours. If you want to know when you can log back into Fortnite, check out the 25.11 server downtime schedule below.
The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter, alongside details on when servers will be taken offline for maintenance.
“Line up the shot and get ready to dive into the upcoming Summer Escape Event with v25.11!” reads an Epic tweet.
“Downtime begins at 4 AM EDT and matchmaking will be disabled shortly beforehand.”
For UK fans, this means that Fortnite will be taken offline in full at 9am BST, while matchmaking will be disabled at 8.30am.
Epic hasn’t revealed exactly when downtime will come to an end, but maintenance typically lasts for around a couple of hours.
This means Fortnite should be back online by 11am BST UK time at the latest.
As part of update 25.11, Epic Games has revealed plans to release an ongoing cosmetic set for Crew subscribers.
It starts with the Winter’s Trickster Banner Icon, the Tricksters Unite! Emoticon, and Trickster’s Charge Spray on June 27.
Epic will subsequently add the Underfox Lobby Track and Outfoxed Wrap, followed by the Blizzard’s Bite Pickaxe, the Skulk Pack Back Bling and the Volpez Outfit.
In addition to the Trickster Legacy Set, update 25.11 will also lay the foundation for the summer event, which is expected to launch on July 4.
