Football Manager 2020 Release Date announced alongside huge news for Google Stadia

Football Manager, arguably the most important sporting simulator on the planet (Sorry, FIFA) has announced the release dates for the next iteration of the game along with a promise to launch on Google Stadia.

Sports Interactive and SEGA have pencilled in an "early November" launch for the game but so far have kept their powder dry when it comes to what new features they might be rolling out.

A first trailer for the game was launched last night, but in truth it only gives you a sense of the game's brand messaging this year, namely that when it comes to the beautiful game, "everyone's got an opinion".

Thankfully, we shouldn't have to wait too much longer before the game does give players a look at the new innovations.

Sports Interactive say they'll be showcasing the game’s key feature announcements "mid-September" through the Football Manager website and via the official FM social media channels.

Like most years, SEGA is giving fans who pre-purchase Football Manager 2020 (for PC and Mac) the ability to save 10% on the cost and gain access to the pre-release Beta.

Again, Sports Interactive have remained fairly tight-lipped about the release date for the beta but has mentioned it will be available "roughly two weeks prior to the official street date".

That said, the Beta will not be available on Stadia.

But once again Football Manager 2020 (for PC, Mac and Stadia) will launch simultaneously with Football Manager 2020 Touch (for PC, Mac, iOS and Android) and Football Manager 2020 Mobile (for iOS and Android) in early November.

Stay tuned for more info as we get it!
