FIFA 20 Future Stars players confirmed for EA Sports next Ultimate Team event

EA Sports next FIFA 20 event is about to get underway with Future Stars set to get begin today, Friday 31st January.

Still not entirely sure what the Future Stars Event entails? We've got a full FAQ from last years event further down.

But to sum it up, it's essentially an event to predict the possible future stats for some of the beautiful game's brightest talents. You won't find Messi, Ronaldo or Mbappe in this event. It's strictly off limits to up and coming players.

The official description from last years event, read:

"FUT Future Stars is our definitive list of breakout stars for 2019. This squad of wonderkids are on the cusp of breaking through into the football mainstream this season. In Future Stars we flash forward to what these youngsters could become if they fulfill their potential. A squad of 21 Future Stars will be released in packs, for a limited time, with supercharged stats to help them compete with today's FUT elite."

What time does FIFA 20 Future Stars begin? Well, no official time has been set by EA Sports, but these events have a habit of starting at 6pm GMT on the dot.

Thankfully, ahead of the full reveal coming later today, there's plenty of leaks, clues and teasers which indicate some of the players who should be included. So read on, for all the info we know so far.

FIFA 20 Future Stars Confirmed Players

First up, we're going to assume that the new squad will feature a full complement of 21 players. Equally, we imagine there will be further players added as part of SBC's and Objectives. That said, those players won't be revealed today.

We normally see those additional players announced by the social feeds in the days that follow.

At the time of writing, there's only one player 'confirmed' to feature in the FIFA 20 Future Stars Ultimate Team Squad.

And that player comes from a leak on Reddit. It seems a snapchat from Fikayo Tomori may have leaked his card whilst doing some sort of photoshoot. You can see that leak, just below.

But Tomori, EA Sports has been posting teasers revealing some clues as to some players who might be included.

Athletico Madrid's Joao Felix and Read Madrids Rodrygo and both look like possible inclusions. Whilst

Reddit users also spotted a variety of numbers that have been hinting towards other possible inclusions.

Here are a few of the finds:

"50.8198, -1.0880 is in Portsmouth, UK – Mason Mount 's hometown"

"13122016 – Dec 13, 2016 – Kamara (Marseille) and Calvert-Lewin (Everton) made their debuts" (unlikely to be Calvert-Lewin who was included last year).

"GHXIEMFLTAA – – top theory right now points to Felix Magath, former manager of Stuttgart, Bayern, Schalke, Fulham" RealSport suggest this could mean an inclusion for Moussa Dembele, given it was Magath who handed his first professional start for Fulham back in 2014.

A: The hottest, breakthrough prospects who are 23 or younger and have shown high potential but have not yet become established global stars.

A: Everyone who logs in to FUT 19 between 6 PM UK Saturday 19th January and 6 PM UK Monday 21st January will be granted a special Player Pick that features 5 Future Stars nominees. The winner will be announced on Friday, January 25th.

Q: Can I try out the Fan's Future Star nominee players before I vote?

A: Yes, everyone who logs in to FUT 19 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC between 6 PM UK Friday 18th January and 6 PM UK Monday 21st January will get 5 game loan items of the 5 nominees, each with their upgraded ratings, to try before you vote.
