Destiny 2 Devil’s Ruin Quest Steps – How to get Devil’s Breath in Season of Dawn

As of today's Destiny 2 Weekly Reset , Bungie is adding a new quest to the game which will allow you to acquire the new Exotic Sidearm, Devil's Ruin.

To add the fancy new item to your inventory, you'll first need to complete a quest called A Lost Relic.

This is actually a pretty simple Exotic quests, in Destiny terms at least, and will be relatively easy to complete – no multi-step, hidden nonsense here.

The specifics of this quest may alter a little once the reset goes live and things start to change over, but in the meantime dataminers have been hard at work and have figured out what the (theoretical) steps for completing this task will be.

Here's what you need to know.

Devil's Ruin Exotic – Quest Steps

Step 1: Pull a New Timelost Weapon Frame out of the Sundial

There isn't any clear information at the moment about how to achieve this quest step, but we reckon it's going to happen almost automatically once you clear a Sundial run.

As of the reset, we assume any Guardian with this quest line active will be able to get a special item that starts up the quest once they clear the activity (or maybe even when you first start the activity).

Step 2 : A Lost Relic – Visit Saint-14

When you have this new item – the Timelost Weapon Fragment – it looks like Saint-14 will be the one that can help you out. The big, famous Titan has seen many things in his various lives and it looks like he's got the knowledge that'll explain how to turn the fragment into the final sidearm itself.

Step 3 : A Tour Through History – Complete New EDZ Mission

Saint-14 suggests that the rest of the fragments you need to complete this Exotic weapon can be found elsewhere – specifically in the EDZ.

Details remain relatively sketchy, but it seems we may have to engage in some sort of time travel-based mission in the European Dead Zone.

Once completed, the gun will be complete and you'll be able to add Devil's Ruin to your inventory.

NB: It stands to reason that there may be more steps to this quest – we'll update you with more information as it becomes clear.
