Cyberpunk 2077 Release Date latest as CD Projekt Red confirm story timeline details

You have to wonder why this is important to know. Will the story be in some way more enjoyable if you have played the board game.

If so, what kind of things could transfer through? Also, 2020 is literally next year, are we going to be augmenting ourselves by then? If so, can we get a sleep switch?

Assuming that the ties between the games are more about the continuity than anything specific it might just be regarding how the world works, the kind of cyberpunk that the game is.

The genre is a fairly open book aside from it always being dystopian and full of neon lights. Corporate overlords tend to be a common theme too. Imagine the nightlife of London, but with more CEOs and robots.

Hopefully, we will see more on the game and the things that we can look forward to soon.

It is still highly unlikely that the game will be released at any point soon though thanks to the development time required on a project this ambitious.

If we see the game in 2020 we can probably consider ourselves lucky. We should be getting a bit more information on the game next month at E3 2019. With any luck, this will involve a rough release window and maybe even the announcement of a demo.

CD Projekt Red has previously said that there will be no open Alpha or Beta test though so don’t expect that.

In other news that might interest fans of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher series of games, CD PROJEKT RED announced the launch of a new online store.

Built and ran by CD PROJEKT RED, the store gives gamers access to worlds of official apparel and collectibles inspired by the studio’s games.

The launch line-up of products, to be expanded with new items and categories moving forward, includes a selection of high-quality T-shirts and hoodies with designs spanning the studio’s franchises, a Shupe the Troll talking plush toy, a Witcher-themed notebook, and more.

Also featured in the store’s offer is a treat for avid collectors — a special, hand-painted 12-inch polystone figure depicting Geralt of Rivia as a rōnin monster hunter, currently available for pre-order.
