Can’t Wait For Cyberpunk 2077? This NSFW Knock-Off May Do The Trick

CD Projekt RED fans may have to wait a little bit longer for Cyberpunk 2077‘s release in early 2020. But for the biggest of Cyberpunk 2077 enthusiasts, there is a new cyberpunk-themed game available on Steam called Cyber City.

Developed and published by Cyber Realistic Game, Cyber City is an adult-themed cyberpunk game whose mature content includes nudity and other sexual themes and bloody first-person shooting mechanics. Beyond this, is notable for its detailed cyberpunk design.

Some gameplay videos are available that illustrate what Cyber City entails. One, uploaded by Rob Cram, can be seen below.

Cyber City does appear fairly straightforward. The video above shows the player traversing a cyberpunk-themed city in first-person. At times, the city appears detailed with sheens on the sidewalk from rain and reflections from large, lit signs. The models of pedestrians and citizens leave a bit to be desired but add life to the city.

Additionally, the player is able to teleport between locations, such as between the city streets and a stadium. At the stadium, the player shows off the game’s FPS mechanics by shooting enemies with a variety of sci-fi weapons.

A large portion of the video includes time spent at the local brothel, however, where the player has the opportunity to spend money for time with one of the female brothel workers. The preview video on Steam shows more of what the explicit sexual content entails. If you plan on viewing these videos, it may be best to do so in a more private setting.

All in all, the gameplay video games show a game lacking in immersion in terms of FPS mechanics. According to some Steam reactions, the game also has some bugs and glitches that need fixing. Additionally, there are complaints over Cyber Realistic Game’s design of the game’s Overall, Cyber City has a rating of “Very Negative” on Steam with 92 reviews from players.

It seems that gamers may simply want to wait for Cyberpunk 2077 for an immersive cyberpunk experience. Granted, we have yet to experience the final version of Cyberpunk 2077, though Cyber City is likely not the best alternative to CD Projekt RED’s next effort.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch April 16th, 2020.
