The once PlayStation 4 exclusive mode for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare will become available on other platforms after nearly a year.
Call Of Duty’s sixth season went live earlier today and is bringing a bunch of new content down the line, with the biggest addition so far being the new subway system in Call Of Duty: Warzone’s map.
However, one detail that may excite Xbox One and PC players has been somewhat overlooked and that’s that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Survival mode is coming to those platforms on October 1.
It’s only briefly mentioned in Activision’s blog post about the new season, but developer Infinity Ward’s senior communications manager, Ashton Williams, highlighted this specifically on Twitter.
However, this was originally exclusive to only the PlayStation 4 version, which drew plenty of ire from players at the time. But with it being almost a year since the game released, the exclusivity deal is coming to an end.
PlayStation owners will be benefitting from early exclusives yet again with Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, as its beta will be available on PS4 before Xbox One and PC.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
