Call of Duty Modern Warfare servers are down this afternoon, which obviously ain't great, not least when Infinity Ward is attempting to roll out a brand new update for the game.
PS4, Xbox One and PC players are reporting that they're unable to access the games multiplayer mode.
For now, this doesn't appear to be an issue with PlayStation PSN or Microsoft's Xbox Live service.
Rather it seems the issue is with Activision's Call of Duty servers with many players reporting a “Connection Failed” status and "Server Queue" when attempting to log in to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has received a surge of Call of Duty down reports with the majority of issues relating to connection problems.
There's currently no word on what is causing the issues or when they will be fixed, but stay tuned we'll have all the updates as they're shared by Activision, Infinity Ward and the various support accounts as they give word on a fix for the game.
This could possibly be linked to the release of a new Call of Duty Modern Warfare Update released today.
Thankfully, if the game is offline, at least you'll have the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare Update 1.09 Patch Notes to read over whilst waiting for the game to come back online.
