Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone will kick off Season Two on February 25. The reveal trailer is light on specifics, but it looks to bring a host of new content to both games.
“Get ready to descend into the heart of the Golden Triangle as Frank Woods and his team go on the hunt for Russell Adler, who went missing at the end of Season One after being captured by Stitch,” reads the official announcement. “But the strike team finds a new adversary in the form of Kapono “Naga” Vang, a ruthless trafficker of Nova 6.”

Before Season Two arrives on February 25, Black Ops fans can look forward to the Throwback Moshpit on February 18. This playlist will bring back fan-favorite maps, including Raid, Express, and Nuketown ’84. You’ll also find a new Snipers Only Moshpit playlist on the same day, which sees two teams of six staring down the scope at each other.
A day later on February 19, Double XP and Double Battle Pass XP will go live for Black Ops Cold War, running until 10am PT on February 22. If you haven’t finished up the Season One Battle Pass, you’ll have one final chance to wrap up it before Season Two drops the following Thursday.
A few other things are going on in the world of Call of Duty this week, including the availability of the decidedly old-school Retro Renegade bundle on Thursday. “The centerpieces of this bundle are two Weapon Blueprints, starting with the Ultra “Tape Deck,” a sky blue SMG Delta with colorful jazzercise trim,” reads the latest Call of Duty blog post. “Backing up “Tape Deck” is the Legendary “Fast Tempo,” an Assault Rifle Echo built for speed.”
The bundle will also include two more Legendary items, as well as a sticker, vehicle horn, calling card, and vehicle skin.
Season Two of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will go live on February 25.
