The Black Friday sale everyone’s been waiting for is finally live, with the Steam Autumn Sale offering 50% or more off Resident Evil 2 and Gears 5.
Just like Nintendo’s Cyber Deals, Valve don’t actually call their Black Friday sale Black Friday, even though that’s blatantly what it is. The Steam Autumn Sale just so happens to run between now and Monday, 2 December and so is Black Friday in all but name.
And after the underwhelming Epic Games Store sale, it’s a relief to find there are some actual good bargains, even though Valve’s biggest Steam sale is usually the summer one.
Here are some of the best ones we noticed, but you’re best to have a good browse around the Steam store and see if there’s anything else that takes your fancy. There are over 13,000 deals after all.
Although arguably the most notable one is 90% off a Steam controller, allowing you to get Valve’s state of the art joypad for just £4. It’s only while stocks last though, as it and its various accessories are being discontinued.
