Amazon Prime Day 2019 has begun and one of the best gaming deals is for the Sony PlayStation Classic console.
The Sony PlayStation Classic was first released in December last year and at launch was available to buy for £89.99.
But since then the price of the PlayStation Classic has been significantly cut by a number of retailers.
Prior to Amazon Prime Day 2019 the online retail giant was selling the PlayStation Classic for £41.60 – more than half its launch price.
And now on Amazon Prime Day 2019 the PlayStation Classic is available to buy for just £15.99.
This is a saving of over 82 per cent on the original PlayStation Classic asking price.

In our review Express.co.uk awarded the PlayStation Classic three out of five stars.
We said the PlayStation Classic looks the part “but doesn’t capture the magic of the original PSOne”.
Our PlayStation Classic review said: “Once a sign of the PlayStation’s superiority over 16-bit mainstays like the Mega Drive, the blocky, jagged visuals now look massively inferior to the sublime sprite-based offerings found in the SNES Mini’s lineup of games.
“Indeed, the ugly visuals coupled with the lack of analogue sticks makes some of the 3D games difficult to play.
“Speaking of the controllers, the PlayStation Classic wires are far too short, similar to the SNES and NES Mini pads. Likewise, the PlayStation Classic doesn’t come with a USB AC adaptor, so you’ll have to supply your own.
“It all adds up to the feeling that while the PlayStation Classic is a small console with bags of charm, there are big problems that stop it from reaching its potential.”
