A new Red Dead Redemption 2 PC trailer could be coming today

There may be something interesting happening over at Rockstar today.

The GTA Online newswire has been pushed out early, as per Rockstar observer and all-round GTA newshound TexFunz2 .

The reason for this could be purely innocent – perhaps Rockstar wants to change some things around in its scheduling software – but more often than not, seemingly innocuous events like this hint at bigger announcements to come.

Rockstar is (in)famous for sticking to fairly rigid update schedules, and the fact that the GTA Online newswire got out early suggests we could be due a big Red Dead Redemption 2 update later today.

The updates usually come out at about 5/6pm UK time, so the fact Rockstar has jumped the gun by roughly 6 hours is fascinating.

And if the early update wasn't enough to make you get your tinfoil hat out and start making maps on the wall, Pepe Silvia style, get a load of this:

Rockstar posted, then deleted, a tweet about Red Dead Redemption 2 on Stadia yesterday. Hmm.

Could we be expecting a fancy trailer, full of amazing graphics and PC gameplay, with a comment about being able to enjoy that quality of gameplay on Stadia, too?

The stars are aligning. Yesterday's now-deleted tweet read:

“Don’t have a PC capable of running the highest settings? With Stadia, you don’t need to! Play Red Dead Redemption 2 on Stadia to see every glorious detail in 4K/60FPS.”

It looks like Rockstar is readying another push on the Wild West simulator.

We're keeping our eyes glued to the screen to bring you more updates as they come.
