Ultimate Gamer announced Thursday a $1M USD prize pool for the Ultimate Gamer Worldwide Open, a global multi-title esports competition slated to start on March 1. The Ultimate Gamer Worldwide Open is a global event that will span several months and culminates with the “Best Gamer on Earth” finale taking place in the Fall of 2021.

Players looking to pick up a share of the prize pool will need compete in at least six different games across five genres possibly including titles such as League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, Call Of Duty Warzone, Madden 21, Fortnite, NBA 2K21, VALORANT, Tekken, along with two yet to be announced titles, and one wildcard challenge.

Each player will be ranked in each game and then those rankings will be tabulated into an average score. All players will receive some portion of the prize pool, but the eventual winner will take home $300K.

However, before the Ultimate Gamer Worldwide Open even gets started,  interested players will have the opportunity to compete in the Ultimate Gamer Championship Series at the regional level in the United States starting Feb. 1.

To get in on the event, players can sign up via the Ultimate Gamer Arena where they can practice, play, and compete for daily prizes.
