Brazilian League of Free Fire (LBFF), one of the most popular esports competitions in the country, has signed a sponsorship deal with Santander, one of the biggest banks in the world. Santander is now the “LBFF’s official bank” and its brand is appearing on the competition’s official streams available on YouTube, Garena’s BOOYAH! platform, and on the Brazilian linear TV channel, Loading.
Garena’s Free Fire stands as one of the most popular esports in Brazil, and the official league is currently in its fourth edition, called the “LBFF 4.” According to Garena, the LBFF 4 reached audience records with 751K simultaneous viewers watching its premiere. This is an increase of 91% when compared to the premiere of the LBFF 3 in 2020, which was not featured on broadcast TV.
