Earlier this year, Psyonix unveiled a revamped structure for its esports competitions, moving to a more open system. The change followed a letter sent by teams to the developer which aired several grievances teams had with the sustainability of Rocket League esports for esports organizations. The Esports Shop system was listed among those grievances, in particular a lack of consistent product availability. According to this new announcement, each team’s full catalog of in-game items will be made available for purchase.
