Juked Raises $1.07M Through its Crowd Equity Campaign

Online esports content portal Juked.gg announced the closing of its crowd equity fundraising campaign that raised $1.07M from more than 2.5K individual investors. The campaign, which was launched in September 2020, was realized on OpenDeal’s private investing platform Republic.

Juked revealed that it intends to use the campaign’s proceeds to grow its staff,  currently six full-time employees, to accelerate the development of the company’s web product, apps, and original content offering.

Its successful crowd equity campaign brought Juked’s total funds raised to $2.1M. Prior to the closing of the crowd equity campaign, a syndicate of esports, gaming, and tech investors, including 500 Startups, Mike Morhaime and Amy Morhaime, Stewart Alsop, who led Twitch’s Series A financing round, and MyFitnessPal co-founders Mike Lee and Albert Lee invested in the company.
