FunPlus Phoenix has managed to grab another CS:GO lineup and it’s none other than the current GODSENT squad according to Petar “peca” Marković. The General Manager of FunPlus Phoenix made the announcement in response to a picture posted to Twitter revealing the lineup as part of the organizations “European Franchises.”
According to peca, the organizations have come to terms and now the Chinese organization is moving on to the individual contracts with the players. “The mutual agreement has finally been made, and right now we are waiting for the players to review and eventually sign their contracts,” he said in the tweet.
The fifth spot on the active lineup isn’t set in stone as of yet, as the image also only shows five members, but one of which is Jonatan “Devilwalk” Lundberg, the teams coach. Luka “emi” Vuković had stood in for the team following Kevin “kRYSTAL” Amend’s release but DBLTAP has reported that GODSENT was in talks with Miikka “suNny” Kemppi to join as the official fifth. Should those talks transfer over to FPX, suNny could be reuniting with former teams in Martin “STYKO” Styk and Jesse “zehN” Linjala.
This continues a long saga of roster changes, drops, and swaps for FPX since their move into Counter-Strike.
