EHOME claim the final non-Minor spot at ESL One Los Angeles

China’s regional closed qualifier for ESL One Los Angeles
came to an end today as EHOME became the final team, apart from the Minor
champion, to head to the upcoming Major.

Yesterday we saw both Invictus Gaming and Royal Never Give Up battle their way into the ESL One Los Angeles Major as two of three teams to represent China at the event. Earlier today, the final team from the region to secure their spot was decided as Team Aster and EHOME went head-to-head. While both teams looked promising in their group stage runs, it was EHOME who came out on top – with Liu ‘Sylar’ Jiajun defeating one of his former squads and reaching his first Major with his new team. For EHOME, this would be their second Dota 2 Pro Circuit event of the season after they played at MDL Chengdu but failed to reach the following Minor or Major.

With that, the Major is set, for all but the Minor champion
team – and from China it will be the following teams heading to LA in little
under a month:

  • Royal Never Give Up
  • Invictus Gaming
  • EHOME

The region now looks to the Minor qualifiers which begin
tomorrow as four teams battle for the one remaining spot available at the
StarLadder ImbaTV Season 3 Minor. The four Chinese teams participating in these
qualifiers are:

  • Avengerls
  • Team Aster
  • Newbee
  • Keen Gaming

With all qualifiers almost completely wrapped up, we get ready for the next set of Minors and Majors in the DPC as we head down the road towards The International 2020.
