Esports organization Complexity and its partner World of Warcraft guild Limit (competing under the name Complexity-Limit) are preparing to defend their crown in the upcoming World of Warcraft Race to World First and have announced several brand partners who will join them for the marathon week of streamed competition.
Blue Microphones will provide its Yeti X World of Warcraft model to Complexity-Limit members, and will sponsor the listen-in broadcast segments where viewers will be able to hear snippets of the guild’s mid-race communication. Complexity will also provide its raiders with chairs from its partner Herman Miller.
Balanced Media Technology will also serve as an event partner to assist with creation of assets for real-time statistics. Finally, the event will be supported by WoW strategy and guide platform WoW Head.
In February, Complexity-Limit won the final race of WoW’s previous expansion Battle for Azeroth. Complexity sent most of the guild to compete in person from its GameStop Performance Center in Frisco, Texas. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of the guild will compete remotely for the first raid of the new Shadowlands expansion, but six members will still play from a bubble-style setup at the Performance Center.
